Hey, I'm Eric Scott, a software engineer from Malvern in the United Kingdom. I'm currently working as a Product Engineer at Hospitable. My passion is building world-class developer experiences for customers who use the products I design.

I started pretty young, teaching myself how to build Minecraft plugins at age 12 and selling those skills by 13. At 16 I left high school on a Friday and went straight into my first software job on the following Monday. I'm a natural-born entrepreneur, with a head for not just engineering, but for business.

I've done this for all my life so far, with no intention of taking my foot off the gas. With a pretty unceremonious goal of being financially free by the time I'm 30, you'll be seeing a lot from me in the near future.

My latest startup is Spends, a payment orchestration platform designed to rethink SaaS billing from the ground up, taking the complexity out of subscriptions, implementing and managing multiple payment gateways, risk management tools, entitlements, and more.

My dream is to provide a solid future for my family, and pave a pathway for young UK entrepreneurs to realise their own dreams and make a name for themselves.
